While we are mulling over the future presidential candidate selections, there are very impressive chunks of back-up info on the state of families and children in our urban areas. We must ask what we are doing for the health of those who are pretty doggone voiceless. Where are the heroes, where is the sense of urgency as each difficult day goes by in these neighborhoods? When
Bernie mentions the plight of these citizens, he is pointing a spotlight on a wound that needs healing. We need to work harder to heal that wound, with a guy like Bernie as president, we could take great strides as we bring in better legislators, develop better initiatives and embark on projects that really work to improve lives. That is why I care so much about who will be our future President, there is no time to waste. .Human potential deserves nurturing and respect, and a great deal of love. Hope we can set off on far better paths in 2016, but even if we ‘get’ Hillary, we must push to make yuuuuge differences in this nation of ours and on our planet! Please take a look at this excellent article that shows in text and graphics what the world looks like in 14 Baltimore neighborhoods, (and this is just an example of one set of neighborhoods in one of our biggest cities— so go figure!) If you take just a moment opening the link, You will look at the map of hardship and see what Bernie is referring to when he compares these areas to regions like the West Bank:, you may think you know, but this is an update. These are OUR people, we can help!!
Let’s explore what we can do together? I believe policies initiated by a Sanders presidency would make healing and planting seeds of better life a reality for neighborhoods I want to see get a better shake at life!
